A company born in 2016 from the intuition of Stephen Carmine Grella and the result of determination, passion and hard work.

Stephen Carmine Grella was born in the USA to a family Italian Ofcarpenters,That he instilled in him the love for woodworking.

​

Arrived inItaly in the small town ofSturno  (AV), during a trip he discovers some cwooden plank, brightly colored arranged in rows with obsessive distance.The Hives.

This event aroused in him curiosity about the world ofbees Andof beekeeping and started studying them. At the age of 18 he decided to put into practice his studies and carpentry skills, acquired in the family workshop. Hasdesigned Andbuilthives ofhigh quality right from the start, choosing with meticulousness and care theraw material, without ever leaving behind traditional techniquesbut projecting towardsinnovation.

The business started in his home garage, selling hives to neighbors and local beekeepers. Perseverance, dedication to the work and quality of the products quickly attracted other beekeepers from across the region. Stephen continued to invest in his ideas and get involved by deepening his knowledge in the sector. His garage has become a cutting-edge carpentry shop with latest generation tools and numerical control machinery.

Intuition was that ofto design Andto produce spackaging systems, experimenting with its creation first with self-production for its products and then aiming at supplying it to all neighboring businesses and beyond. The production cycle of the platforms starts from the reuse of the resulting products, continues with their assembly to arrive at propose the product with minimal environmental impact and maximum savings in terms of use of raw materials. The target of new investments is easilyunderstandable: to encouragesustainable growth, not only of WOODITALIA, but of all the companies that live aterritory rich in natural, human and landscape resources to be protected.
